LONDON WOOL SALES. (By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright.) (United Prose Association.) (Received 16, 11.30 a.m.) London, April 15. At the wool uales there was good competition for all sorts. Prices were firm. German and French buyers were keen for good merinos. The wheat and flour afloat for the United Kingdom is 4,200,000 quarters and for the Continent 2,420,000. Atlantic shipments 159,000, Pacific nil. The total shipments to Europe for the week amounted to 1,170,000 quarters, including Argentine 285,000, Russian 1.95,000, Danubian 210,000, India and Persia 58,000 and Australasian 102,000. Silver, 26£d. Shares: Waihi 36s 3d to 38s 9d, Junction 25s 6d to 26s 6d.
