At Raratonga on March 4th Moongo. a native of Mangan, was sentenced to three years for manslaughter, arising out of the, charge of having murdered his wife on December 3rd. The jury expressed the opinion that the case was an outcome of hush beer drinkiri". and asked the authorities to take strong measures for the prevention of brewing and drinking of this beverage and the resulting drunkenness.
