AN INTERESTING SUBJECT.

(To the Editor “Stratford Post.”) Sir, —We have been reading a good deal lately in reference to Polar exploration and, naturally, the dogs used have been ranch to the fore. As a lover of dogs generally, I would like to know more of the ice dogs. 1 have never scon any literature on the subject, but possibly your contributor “Laverack” could write ,an enlightening article on the subject. II he could be persuaded to do so 1 am sure the article would be appreciated not only by dog lovers, but by all those interested in Polar work—and they are many.—l am, etc.,. DOGS. Stratford, April 2nd, 1912. [On being shown the above letter “Laverack” intimated his willingness to write the desired article, which will appear in the course of a day or two.—Ed., ,E.P.]
