On Friday last a match was played between the Inglewood B team and the Stratford B team, on the Stratford lawns, resulting as follows (Inglewood players being mentioned first in each case): — Singles.—Mrs. O'Carroll 28 v. Miss Moore 1 ; Mrs. Heslop 28 v. Mrs. Black 20; Mrs. Orbell 3 v. Mrs. Reira 28; Miss Johnson 1.3 v. Mrs. Ward 28. Doubles.—Mrs. O'Carroll and Mrs. Heslop 28 v. Miss King and Mrs. Black 22; Mrs. Orbell and Miss Johnson 25 v. Mrs. Reira and Mrs. Ward 28. Totals: Inglewood 125, Stratford 127.
