THE HAWKESBURY HANDICAP. Sydney, March 31. \L%' the Hawkesbury Racing Chili's meeting the Hawkesbury Handicap resulted as follows: —Bright Laddie 1, Silver Spec 2, Jewelstone 3. Eleven 'horses started. Bright Laddie drew clear after running a mile, and won <by a length and a half, half a neck between second and third. Time, 2niin l-Hsec. SYDNEY TRAINING. (Received 1, 8.55 a.m.) Sydney, April 1. Overnight rain made the going heavy. Lady Medallist galloped a mile nicely in lmin 52|sec, Blairgour taking lmin 55sec. Gunboat did a fast mile and a 'half, the last six furlongs in lmin 24sec. Trafalgar and Malt King did goocf work, but were not extended.
