MR. PAYNE EXPLAINS. (Vor Press Association.) Napier, March 30. Interviewed by a reporter to-day. Mr. Payne, M.P. for Grey Lynn, expressed his intention ef voting against the new Administration. "This." he said, "will give Mr. Massey his opportunity of showing whether he is genuine in his profession of work : ng along democratic lines. If he puis either Mr. Witch or Mr. Robertson; in his Cabinet as Labour Minister I will vote with him. This will prove to those people who have been howling aga ; nst me in Grey Lynn that I was not married to the Ward Party, and that ' took the step I did considering it to lie the best in tbo interest of the | workers, whom I really represent."
