For having refused to pay fines of 40k and costs 10s, for having declined to take the oath under tiie Defence Act, five youths—Frank Ward, Harold Hayes", Charles William Vincent, Alfred Francis Scott and Thomas Nuttal—were to-day sent to prison for three weeks.
