In Pennsylvania swollen rivers and great floods are devastating • large areas of country. Coal mines and factories have shut down in many places, and thousands of people are idle. In Western Pennsylvania one death has been recorded. The Kauasec River is floocVng the town of Wilmington, in Illinois.
