T. LAMASON’S WEEKLY REPORT,

A very fair entry of poultry was catalogued on Saturday, and prices realised' were a decided improvement on previous sales. The vegetable market is very slow, and demand is very poor. I quote as follows:—Old hens Is 2d to Is Bd, pullets 2s 6d to 2s 9d, roosters Is to Is 3d, cockerels 9d to 1s Cd, geese 2s fid to 3s; potatoes Is 6d 241 b bags, marrows fid each, cabbage, carrots-, etc., ordinary rates. About 700 cases fruit came forward during the week. Apples 2s to 6s, damsons 2s to 3s fid, plums 2s fid, poaches 2s fid to -Is Cd ; pears 2s fid to Bs.
