DRINK IN GAMPS.
POLICE HAVE NO COMPLAINT ABOUT HAMILTON. AN EXCELLENT RECORD. (Per Press Association.} Hamilton, March 19. The police, interviewed by the “Waikato Times” regarding the resolution by the No-License Council, concerning Territorials and drink, deny any excessive thinking on Saturday. they state that they visited tire hotels as there was a possibility of youths under age procuring drink, but there were no signs of drunkenness. 'They saw a number of Territorials drinking in one hotel,"but were satisfied that they were all over ago. There was a possibility of drink being smuggled out, but they saw nothing more than the usual hilarity met with in holiday crowds. On St. Patrick’s Day one Territorial out of the whole batch was before the Court for inebriety. A Territorial officer, interviewed, said the rules regarding taking liquor into camp were stringent. No excessive drinking had been reported during the oveek’s camp.
