TJi o visitors batted first and made J7l, Wellington .responding with 305. Burton put up a score of 122 by fine play. Bowling for Marlborough, Pearpoint took two for 07. Benning one for 38, Fish two for GO, .Armstrong one far 28, and Martin two for 23. The match will be resumed to-morrow afternoon.
