OPUNAKE ANNUAL MEETING. Favoured with line weather, the Opiumke Pacing Club had a great gathering and a very successful day’s racing yesterday, no less than £7780 being put through the totalisator as against £5550 last year, Mr. A. Morse got his fields away well from the (barrier, and Mr. \V. A . Young was successful in the judge’s box. Some close finishes and good racing was witnessed, and visitors received a hearty welcome at the hands of the club’s officials.
