Lead: Imports 16,517 tons, exports 3925 tons. Galvanised iron: £l4 5s and £l3 17s 6d. Tin plates 9d and 14s 3id. Wirenetting: 55 per cent and a half to 5 per cent off list. WHEAT SHIPMENT. (Received 18, 8.50 a.m.) ■ London, March 17. The wheat and flour afloat for the United Kingdom is 3,950,000 quarters, and for.the Continent 1,430,000. Atlantic shipments 122.000, Pacific 17,000. The total shipments to Eurone for the week amounted to 1,225*000 quarters, including Argentine 450,000, Russian 145.000, Danubian 50,000, Indian 132,000, Australasian 190,000.

Hemp.—Spot, New Zealand good fair grade £2l 10s, fair grade £2O ■los, forward shipment New Zealand good fair grade £2l 10s, fair grade £2O 10s. The output from Manila for the week was 15,000 bales. Hops.—The market remains firm on account of the difficulty of obtaining supplies. English £l3, Californian £l2 per cwt.
