A. AND P. ASSOCIATION.

MEETING OF THE EXECUTIVE. A meeting of the executive committee of the A. and,P. Association was held last night, when the President (Mr. W. P. Kirkwood), and Messrs. R. Dingle, S. M- Porritt, G. Sangster, and 3. D. Healy were present. . . Mr. J. Armstrong wrote advising train arrangements in connection with the gymkhana, to be held on Easter Monday. Trains will run as follows: New Plymouth, depart 6.30 a.m. and 8.40 a.m. Waitara, depart 6.25 a.m. and 8.40 a.m. Hawcra, depart 7.20 a.m., 11.10 a.m., and 1.40 p.m. 1 Te Wera, depart 6.15 a.m. and 12.50 p.m. . Correspondence was also received from the Secretary of the Taranaki Agricultural Society, intimating that his Society was of opinion that theproposed conference would he beneficial to the general workings .of the several A. and P. Associations on this coast. He suggested New Plymouth as the scene, and June 5, ,6, 7,, and 8, as the dates, these being the Winter Show days. It was decided to forward a hearty vote of thanks to Mr. P. Hunter for judging at the Show._ The question of a visit by the members of the Association to the Mournahaki State Farm will be discussed at next Saturday’s meeting of the General Committee.
