Matthews and Bennett's Report. Messrs. Matthews and Bennett report that there was a large entry of cat'ble in their Inglewood yards on Wednesday last, prices being about the same. Quotations: Weaners, good, £1 7s to £1 14s, small £1 to £1 6s : store cows, £2 to £3 10s; bulls, £2 to £4 10s ; Jersey heifers, R.W.8., £4 os ; fat cows, £5 2s to £lO 8s; forward cows, £3 155,t0 £4 10s; ewes, 4s 7d to os; steers, £2 17s to £3 2s. THE GRAIN MARKET. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, have received the following cablegram from their London house, under date 13th instant:—Wheat: We have sold, an Australian cargo at 37s 6d c.i.f. There is very little demand, and the outlook is .uncertain. We quote, per quarter c.i.f., New Zealand wheat, long-berried 36s Od, short-berried 35s 6d. Oats: We quote Gartens 32s 6d, Sparrowbills 225. The market is .firm and the outlook encouraging. BANK CAPITAL/” INCREASED. (Received 16, 9.40 a.m.) Sydney, March 16. The shareholders of the Commercial Banking Co. confirmed the creation of twenty, thousand now shares.
