PROPERTY SALES.
The Stratford branch of the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, report having recently disposed of the following properties : Messrs. Claridge and Grant’s dairy farm of 174 acres. Mr. Virgin’s well-known Ratapiko run. of 1000 acres, to a Patea settler. Mr. W. H. Sadleir’s 1400 acre property, to a local buyer. In conjunction with Messrs. Cornwall and Whitcora'bc, of New Plymouth : Mr. A. E. Watkins’ renowned “White Clifts” Estate, of 660 acres, also his well-known Mimi orchard and homestead, together with SO acres of land, to a South Island investor. An Okaiawa property of 214 acres to Mr. A. E. Watkins. It is pleasing to note, reports the agent, that in the majority of cases there has been a considerable amount of cash paid down.
