YUAN-SHIH-KAI RECOGNISED. (Received 14, 10.50 a.m.) Toki „, March 13. The Powers have Japan’s proposal to recognise Yuan-Sln'h-Kai, with the Russian reservations in Mongolia. TO RESTORE THE EMPEROR.
(Received 14, 12.50 p.m.) Pekin, March 13. General Sheng-Yuu’s Kansa army of ten thousand defeated the Government forces. Shcng-Yun says he is coming to restore the Emperor. Yuan-Shih-Kai has sent envoys to explain.
