PREPAREDNESS.
ORGANISATION OF AN OVERSEA CAMPAIGN.
A GIGANTIC PROPOSITION
(Received 14, 9.15 a.m.)
London, March 13
The Army Estimates were challenged regarding the preparedness for war. Colonel Seely exhibited a marked envelope and offered to show it to any member of the Opposition under a pledge of secrecy. Subsequent speakers doubted the possibility of doing this without denuding the country.
