VIGOROUS ATTACK REPULSED

The Italians at Tobruk repulsed a vigorous Turco-Arab attack, both sides attempting flanking movements. The Italians had thirteen killed and sev-enty-three wounded.
A THOUSAND KILLED
(Received 14, 8.5 a.m.) Tripoli, March 13
One thousand Turks and Arabs were killed near Benghazi yesterday, chiefly in bayonet charges.
SMALL ITALIAN LOSSES
(Received 14, 10.20 a.m.) Rome, March 13. Three Ital ian officers and twenty-six men were killed' near Benghazi yesterday. Seven officers and fifty-five men were wounded. Two,oases north-east of Fojato were occupied. THROUGH TURKISH EYES. (Received 14, 10.50 a.m.) Constantinople, March 13. _ Edhem Pasha reports his success at Tobruk, and states that the Italian casualties numbered two thousand.;
