The Napier Park Racing Club’s autumn meeting opened to-day in dull weather. The track was in good order. There was a large attendance, the tote investments being £12,231, as against £11,274 for the first day of the last autumn meeting. Concluding results : ' J

Trial Hack Stakes, of GO sovs; 6 furlongs.—Marimba. ,1, Ngakau 2, Chief Marshall 3. Also started: War Talk and Monella. Won by three lengths, the third horse six lengths away. Time, Imin 10 3-sseo.

Welter Handicap, of 100 sovs; 7 furlongs.—Ardfert 1, San Pluic 2, Culh’uan 3. Also started: Goldfinder, Montiform, Golden Water, Master Stead. Won by a nose, a length between second and third. Time, linin 20sec.

Sapling Stakes, of 100 sovs; 5 furlongs.—Ebeceue 1, Master Kilcheran 2, King’s Favourite 3. Also started: Bon Bon, Evadnc, Sir Daniel, Warlight, Lockwood, The Nile, and Elevator. Won by a length and a half, the same between second and third. Time, Imin 2sec.
