IN THE COURTS.
- (Per Press Association A March 8. Fines were imposed this morning on another batch of youths charged,with failure to obey the Defence Act. In giving reserved judgment in cases in which conscientious and religions objections were raised, Mr. Bailey, S.M., said the question of religion would not arise Fill the men were, put to service. It was the duty of everyone to register and take the oath, but the defence authorities could consider religious objections later. Fines ware imposed. Counsel for'the defence indicated that an appeal was probable.
