At my Stratford yards on Tuesday I had again a very heavy yarding, including a big entry of weaners, all pons wore well filled with all classes of stock. Matthews and Bennett’s Weelt'y Report. Messrs. Matthews and Bennett icport that there was a good yarchug of cattle in their Inglewood yards on Wednesday last. Prices were as follows:—Steers £4 Is to £1 135.Gd,0 fat cow's £4 18s, bulls £3 to £1 2s, .store cows £2 5s to £3 IDs, weaners 18s to 2os Gd, lambs (cull) 3s to 3s 3d, lambs (good) 8s Gd, ewes 9s. LONDON MARKETS. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, have received the following cablegram from their London house, under date Gth instant:—We quote present spot values for the following descriptions of tallow; Fine mutton 34s 3d per cw't., good beef 32s 9d, mixid 31s 3d. Market dull for fine mutton and lino beef. Wheat sold at 37s 7Ad o.i.f. Australian cargo. Market is quiet but steady owing to light arrivals; outlook encouraging.
