A. AND P. ASSOCIATION.
MEETING OF THE EXECUTIVE. The executive of the A. and P. Association met last evening, Messrs. W. P. Kirkwood (in the chair), J. D. Healy, G. Sangster, R. Masters, R. Dingle, E. Jackson being present. A letter was received from the secretary of the Manawatu and West Coast A. and P. Association, referring to the proposed conference of the West Coast A. and P. Associations, advising that the matter had been discussed, and that the committee, in view of the General Conference having been held, and that body being still in existence, preferred not to nominate delegates to this conference. The secretary was instructed _to write to the .Manawatu and West Coast A. and P. Association, informing them that the intention of tins Association in calling a conference on this coast was for the purpose of d’scussing in particular matters of a local nature, and remits would be made to the Wellington conference. The Chairman reported tint the arrangement for the gymkhana to be held on Easter Monday were well in hand, and everything pointed to a successful function. Accounts amounting to £l2 12s were passed for payment.
