Mrs Panklmrst and Mrs. Take, who were imprisoned for participating in the recent window-smashing demonstration, were charged with Lawrence and Mrs. Lawrence for alleged conspiracy. During the hearing at Bow Street Mrs Tuke became ill and almost had to be carried out of court. Mrs Panklmrst was hysterical. All were remanded, Lawrence being refused bail. The police chase of Christabel Panklmrst continues.
