THE HON. T. MACKENZIE GIVES HIS OPINIONS. SELF-ABNEGATION WANTED. (Per Press Association.) Christchurch, March 6. The Hon. T. Mackenzie passed through Christchurch on his way to Dunedin. Questioned' regarding his own future, he said he would take any position the party thinks ’He ought to occupy after it had exhaustively considered all the circumstances. His own opinion is that at a time like the present, every member of the party should practice self-abnegation, and be prepared to do jwhat was most likely to settle the difficulties and advance the cause of Liberalism. ■' ' ; A,, TO-DAY’S PROCEEDINGS.
