HORTICULTURAL SHOW.
NORMANBY SOCIETY’S ANNUAL SHOW. SOME STRATFORD SUCCESSES. The twenty-ninth annual show under the auspices of the Normanby Horticultural, Poultry, and General Produce Society was opened on iuesr dav, and was continued yesterday. The number of entries, nearly 1500, is distinctly a record. Ihe quwty of the exhibits may be inferred from the fact that in .many instances the juderes had a difficult task m allocating the awards. Praise must be accorded to every section. Those winch stand out for particular mention are the vegetables, root crops, trm , honey, cookery, and tne fancy work.
