U.S. PRESIDENCY.
EX-PRESIDENT’S CANDIDATE RE CONDEMNED. A VETERAN PROGRESSIVE. (Received 4, 8.30 a.m.) New York, March 3. Mr. W. J. Bryan, addressing a large gathering at Tacoma, attacked Mr. Roosevelt’s decision to run a third term. He recommended Senator Lafollotte’s presidency candidature. He commended Mr. Taft for the great reforms he.'had managed to effect during his term of office. Ho said Mr. Lafolletto was a Progressive before Mr. Roosevelt learned to spell the word.
