Aribano, who confessed to implication in the 'taxi-cab robbery, declared that he robbed the robbers who stole £SOOO from bank messengers. Arbano, entering a saloon where the loot was being divided, bluffed a man into giving him £2OOO. As ho was departing two other men held him up and obliged him to part with some of the booty. Then he fled to Havana, where a woman relieved him of the balance.
