STEAMER OVERDUE.
TRAINING SHIP TO SEARCH. (Per Press Association') , • Wellington, February 29. The Government training ship, the Amokura-; is proceeding in quest of the Himitangi, and went to Worser Bay'to-night to wait until she could get steam up in her own boilers, which have just been repaired. The Amokura will call at Cape Palliser lighthou'sc, and then sail direct for Waitangi, taking the track that the Gertie is returning upon, if the latter vessel picks up the crew of the Himitangi at the no news of the missing vessel at the Chatham's, the Amokura will search away to the east and north-east of the islands, and afterwards zig-zag back to New Zealand.
