The public meeting in connection with the cricket trouble expressed indignation at the 'action of the Board in excluding six of the leading players.- The chairman was instructed to cable to the Marylebone Club protesting against the Board’s team being received as representative and suggesting that the Marylebone Club should stipulate that the team should be fully representative of Australian oriokdt. It was resolved that the Board had lost the confidence of the cricketing. public. Mr Fisher is to he asked to suggest that the Board shall agree to the appointment of three arbitrators. Harry Trott was amongst the principal speakers. ;
