LABOUR PARTY’S OPINIONS Auckland, February 29. The Auckland branch of the Labour Party unanimously passed a resolution congratulating Mr Veitch on his political honesty and integrity, and while not committing itself to the wisdom or otherwise of the pledges condemned the action of the two socalled Labour politicians, Messrs Robertson and Payne, in breaking faith with their constituents.
The meeting wa,s of the opinion that the two referred to should hand in their resignations.
The resolution also stated that the Labour Party was in no way connected with the regrettable occurrence.
