WANGANUI CUP MEETING. (Per Press Association.) Wanganui . February 29. The Wanganui Jockey Club’s autumn meeting opened to-day in beautiful weather. There was a. large attendance. The totalisator put through £21,779, as against £15,127 on tlie first day .of last year. Concluding results : „ Wanganui Cup.—Bronze 1. Dearest 2, Domino 3. Goodwin Park. was scratched. Kanroa led for the greater part of the way, when he ,was superseded by Bronze, who won comfortably by two and a. half lengths, Domino a. length behind third. Time, 3rnin 2 4-ssec.

Juvenile Handicap.—Styx 1, Outward 2, Topic 3. All started. Won by three-quarters of a length, same distance between second and third. Time, train 2seo. Wiritoa Hack Handicap.—Bonnie Boy ,1, Matlow 2, Leonta 3. Won by a, head, third horse a length away. Time, Imin 44sec.

Flying Handicap.—Gipsy Belle 1, Royal Scotch 2, Byron 3. Scratched : Labour Day, Master Sylvia, Bill and Sea Queen. Won by two lengths.
