It was agreed to urge the council to 'secure representation on the Australasian Conn oil. A recommendation was adopted to exclude from amateur swimming persons who take part in professional football. Regarding payment of travelling expenses, delegates recommended the council to facilitate the interchange of swimmers as far as possible. It was agreed that under the race rules a competitor be deemed to 'have finished when he touched the winning post with one hand clearly out of water; that officials at a meeting should not have power to alter the order of championships; that the period for applications for records bo extended to 14 days; that the “frog kick” "be insisted on in the breaststroke championship; that the standard for the ladies’ championship be fixed at Imin 80sce for 100yds, 2min Msec for 220yds. It was agreed that the Now Zealand championships for 1914 bo allotted to Hawke’s Bay.
