London, February 16. ■' ' The case of Roberts v. Gray is proceeding. , Plaintiff alleges a contract of a proposed eighteen months’ world tour. The defence was that Gray was an infant and plaintiff misrepresented the dates of play. Roberts denies this and added, in reply to the Lord Chief Justice, that he hoped to make £IO,OOO a year . profit. He had made upwards of £250 a day when playing publicly in India and . £2300 for a fortnight in London when playing Dawson.
