THE BRISBANE STRIKE.
SETTLEMENT UNLIKELY. (Received 15, 12.20 p.m.) Brisi)ane, February 15. In reply to a Question whether negotiations had been opened with the Employers’ Federation, it having been suggested that the unions might be met in a conciliatory spirit, Ml 1 . Coyne said he believed so and hoped so, but the strike committee insist as a condition of settlement that all unionists be reinstated.
