Sydney, February 14. Cabinet has decided that the building of Commonwealth warships shall be concentrated at Cockatoo Island. Repair work will bo done at Newcastle. Melbourne, February 13. The Federal Government are inviting the following to form a board to adjudicate on the Federal Capital design: Mr Smith, president of the Victorian Institute of Engineers; Mr Coane, of Melbourne, surveyor; and Mr Kirkpatrick, of Sydney, architect; and is offering each an honorarium of a hundred guineas.
