AN INFLUENTIAL DELEGATION

A dramatic attempt is being made at Chicago to persuade Mr Roosevelt to stand for the Presidency. Eight Governors and a number of delegates representing the twentyeight States met informally and appointed a committee to approach the ox-President and ask him to become a candidate.
