FIXES FOR FAILING TO TAKE THE OATH. fFer Press Association.) Christchurch, February 9. A large number of young men were charged at the Magistrate's Court to-day with failing to take the oath of allegiance as required by the Defence Act. Several were lined t()s (reducible to os f the oath is taken in fourteen days). Cases against twelve youths were withdrawn because they had taken the oath. Informations against eleven others- were adjourned to allow the oath to bo taken.
