DYING DEFALCATOR.
MAKES REMARKABLY RAPID RECOVERY. PARDONED BY THE PRESIDENT. * (Received 8, 11.55 a.m.) New York, February 7. Morse, the “Ice King,” serving a sentence for misapplying the funds of the Mercantile National Bank, reported to be dying, is improving rapidly. Mr Tuft has pardoned him.
