The “Athletic Nous” says the Australian footballers’ tour lias been an unqualified success from a playing standpoint. The players generally had upheld their big reputation but no financial gain had resulted from tiro tour, the revenue being only throefourths what the Northern Union team received in /Australia, though they played double the number of matches. It is estimated that the extra matches resulted in a loss of £4OO.
