.Per Press Association.) Wellington, February 3. The tramway strike is still not settled. A meeting of the City Council is being held at noon to discuss the situation arising out of last night’s developments. At a meeting of the Citizens’ League to-day a resolution was passed supporting the Council in its attitude in declining to make further concessions and expressing the League’s accord with the firm attitude in protecting the interests of citizens as a whole against the demands of a particular section.
