NOTES AND MEMORANDA.
Mothers of families are beginning to‘ think of the time when children will be at school again, and among other things, they have to be provided with a proper school outfit. Mr. H. J. Hopkins, in his replace announcement, advises that he can supply all school requirements. An advertiser has a dairy farm for sale. A red and white heifer is impounded in the Stratford pound. On Saturday next Mr. Newton King will hold his usual sale of poultry, vegetables, furniture, fruit, etc. Particulars are published elsewhere. Miss D. Bayly, L.A.8., of Stratford, has decided to teach the pianoforte, and has secured central rooms in Curtis’ buildings, Broadway.
