WEATHER FORECAST.
The Dominion Meteorologist telegraphed this afternoon: —A storm area, appears to be approaching from the northward,-especially threatening the North Island; there are indications for winds freshening; a strong south-easterly gale, with rain; and .nsettled weather, may ho expected after 24 hours from 9 a.m. to-day.
