A REIGN OF TERROR

There is a reign of terror at Mukden. Revolutionary suspects are arrested and nightly executed. The last victims include the president of tho Municipal Council and two respected members of the Progressive Society.
The Chinese arc terror-stricken, and are appealing to Japan for protection. Tho Japanese Legation at Pekin fears that action may become necessary.
The Japanese fleet has arrived at Port Arthur for winter manoeuvres. It is believed the real robject is to watch the revolutionary cruisers and transports at Chefoo.
Pekin, January 29. There'■'have been 32 bomb outrages at Mukden in five days.
