WAR IN TRIPOLI.
TO MINIMISE SEIZURES
Paris, January 30. Franco and Italy are contemplating a mixed commission to devise means for preventing a recurrence of seizures, and to arrange a maritime mo : dus vivendi during the war. BRITISH LAUNCH SEIZED. U . Constantinople, January 29. The Italian cruiser Piedmont lowered a boat flying the white flag at the Hodeiah, and captured a motor launch flying the Union Jack. It is reported the British Consul requested that a warship be sent, the Italians threatening to bombard Hodeiah. Riz Alley and four others aboard the steamer Africa have been released.
