There was a large attendance for the second day’s racing at Takapnna. Results:—
Mnana Handicap.—Cloudy Dawn 1, Invader 2, Master Dix 3. All started. Won by a neck. Time, Imiu 30 1-5 see.
Maiden Hurdles.—Lloyds 1, Matarere 2, Captain Paul 3. .Scratched: Master Theory, Master Sly. Won comfortably by three lengths. Time, 2min 57sec.
Suburban Handicap.— Pryde 1. Red Lupin 2. Mabinca 3. Scratched: Lucilba, La Kcina. Won by a bead, a nock between second and third. T:mo, liniu XU l-osec.
