AMUSEMENTS.
HIS MAJESTY’S THEATRE. On Saturday evening a very good attendance greeted the finishing programme for the week at His Majesty’s Theatre. To-night the usual change takes place. The management have secured the Irish drama “The Lad from Ould Ireland,” The Kalem Kine Co., ol America, went to a big expense in sending the whole of their stock company of actors from New York to Ireland so as to obtain the lovely local beauty spots of the old land, which surround the drama. Terry being tired of working for low wages in Ins native land, decided to leave for America, where he soon amasses a large fortune. He returns to his native village, and marries his sweetheart Aileen, to whom he has been true. “The Doomed Ship” is a very fine Edicon drama. “Captain Nell” shows the good work done by the Salvation Army. “The Litthe Soldiers of ’64” is a romance of the American Civil War, and introduces some fine battle pictures. “The Wife’s Awakening” deals with American Society. The comic portion is the best.
