A carnival is to ho hold at Hawera on Tuesday evening next. Open races of 75yds and 125yds arc on the programme. Ur E. Dewhirst, formerly well-known in Stratford swimming circles is now .secretary of the club. Entries close on Saturday evening. This, the lirst of the interclub fixtures, should soe a number of Stratford swimmers on the spot.
