The weather was lino for the Anniversary Day holiday meeting Results :
Anniversary Handicap.—Electric Wire 1, King Bee 2, Kurnell 3. Thirteen itarted, including Chaste. There was a great finish, Electric Wire winning by a short neck, a length and a half >etween second and third. Time, 2min 35sec.
Novice Handicap.—Toli 1, Boy Blue 2, Sir Hiram 3. Seven starters. Won jy five lengths. Time, Imin 41scc. The Anniversary Handicap amateur sculls was won by Lamber. Allcomers’ Single Sculls was won by Barley (lOsec), C. Mattorson (scr.) second. „ ) . ' ,;, : ; . The service whalers’ race resulted: Naval Brigade 1 and 2, Cambrian’s crew 3.
In the service cutters ' race the Naval Brigade beat the Torch’s crew. The amateur 220 yards sprint fliampionship of Now South- Wales ivas won by Redmond. Time, 22 2-ssec. Madeloy and Mulligan dead-heated for second place.
