MURDER.

BODY PACKED IN SALT. New York, January 25. A body, said to be that of a son of a millionaire of Portland ("Oregon), was found in a trunk at a railway station at Seattle. A baggage man noticed blood oozing from the trunk days ago, but thought it contained a Christmas turkey. Tho body was cut to pieces and packed in salt. It is stated the deceased acted as foreman of a Chinese laundry at Portland. Before the body was found a Chinaman committed suicide, but it is unknown if this had any connection with the tragedy.
